Thank you for playing!

Sincerely, thank you. Working on Fantasy Tanks was a joy, and the community was a big part of that. Seeing people engage with something you've built, and being able to engage in turn to respond to feedback and improve their experience, is still something I miss.

So thank you for playing over the years, and especially to those 97 others who joined me in the first Unofficial Fantasy League all the way back in 2016.

Retrospective

Fantasy Tanks had a great run, hosting 33 fantasy leagues from its humble beginnings as the Unofficial Fantasy League in 2016, to serving as the official Fantasy League of WGLNA through 2017, carried on by the NA community keeping competitive World of Tanks alive just for fun from 2018 to 2022, and finally hosting regional tournament leagues in ANZ, Japan, and the Americas from 2021 to 2023.

In that time 13,690 users created 86,604 rosters, earning 199,412,810 fantasy points (2302.58 on average), and were awarded for their efforts with 1,177,250 gold, 39,865 days of premium, 89 premium tanks, 60,760 boosters, 17,788 large repair kits, 4 keyboards, 4 headsets, and 2 chairs.

Meanwhile 1786 players dealt 127,721,591 damage, racked up 43,742 kills by firing 537,027 rounds (hitting 402,665 and penetrating 310,887) across 5,864 battles.

Players fought using 124 different tanks, but the Bat.-Châtillon 25 t was the clear favorite being used 11,341 times. With the Super Conqueror coming in a distance second at 5,975 and the IS-7 third at 5,115.
